Overview
Registered Nurse, NICU – San Luis Obispo, California, United States. This travel, temporary assignment begins on 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks. You will work Nights on a 3x12 schedule in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within a Home Healthcare - Hospice setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,957 to $2,079 per week, with 0.0 guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide planning, coordination, and direct nursing care to neonates in the NICU on specified night shifts.
- Develop and update individualized care plans; administer medications and monitor for physiological changes.
- Address psychosocial needs of neonates and their families; provide education and training on care needs and discharge planning.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate care tasks to ancillary personnel in line with scope of practice.
- Cross-train and float to pediatric units as required to support coverage and patient needs.
- Contribute to team-based care, documentation, and ongoing quality improvement efforts.

Requirements
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nursing experience or relevant NICU exposure preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.
- Willingness to float to pediatric units as needed.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and document patient care in a fast-paced neonatal setting.
