Position Summary

Hours Per Week: Up to 10 hours per week

Department: West Campus: Employer Engagement and Career Services

Rate of Pay: $25.24 an hour

The Research Analyst 1 plays the lead role in the administration of college-wide surveys and course evaluations or supports assessment operations and accreditation reporting of the College. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to administer surveys or track and report data on behalf of requestors and on behalf of the larger College audience to meet key performance indicators, benchmarking, and accreditation needs.

Designs and maintains scalable data collection systems and reporting frameworks that support programmatic and operational decision-making. Integrates data from multiple sources including Google Forms, Google Sheets, spreadsheets, and internal systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility. Develops dashboards and visual reporting tools that communicate trends, capacity considerations, and program impact to leadership and community stakeholders.

This is a grant funded position and is temporary and contingent upon renewed funding. Funding is expected to continue through the end of 2026. The work schedule for this position may include working evenings and weekends.

About Temporary Employment

This position has 1 vacant position and will establish a qualified applicant pool for part-time temporary positions. Applications will remain active for 6 months to a year and selected candidates may be contacted as positions become available or when immediate staffing needs arise. Placement in the pool does not guarantee employment. The applicant pool will be refreshed annually.

Temporary applicants may be hired for specific assignments or placed in an applicant pool for future opportunities, depending on enrollment levels and business needs. If selected from this pool of applicants, candidates contacted will receive details regarding the specific assignment and will have the opportunity to confirm interest and availability.

We are seeking dedicated part-time temporary employees to join our qualified applicant pool. Selected candidates will be considered for placement as positions become available or when immediate staffing needs arise.

Part-time temporary roles offer flexible scheduling and the opportunity to support a diverse population of students in achieving their educational goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements research protocols. Retrieves data, cleans and organizes datasets of varying structure and quality, provides data analyses and prepares analytical reports. Develops and maintains dashboards and visual reports using Google Looker Studio or comparable business intelligence tools
  • Collaborates with program leads and stakeholders to design standardized, scalable data collection tools such as surveys, intake forms, and tracking instruments.
  • Develops, writes, and analyzes non-statistical and statistical data, interprets results of statistical analyses and prepares reports for occupational programs, enrollments, student characteristics, course grades and success indicators. Applies data to evaluate program effectiveness, workload distribution, and operational impact
  • Responds to inquiries from College administrators, staff, and the public related to institutional information. Presents data findings in formats accessible to non-technical audiences and supports data- informed storytelling to demonstrate program value and resource needs
  • Identifies opportunities to improve data quality, consistency, and usefulness within existing workflows. Supports continuous improvement, monitoring, and outcomes-based reporting practices
  • Performs a variety of administrative functions
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education , Mathematics, Computer Technology or a closely related field of study
  • Up to One (1) year of related experience with data analysis and reporting

OR

  • An equivalent combination of certification, education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above

Preferred

  • One (1) to Three (3) years of related experience

  • Skill in developing dashboards and visual reports that clearly communicate trends, outcomes, and capacity considerations
  • Ability to design standardized, practical, and scalable data collection processes
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights suitable for leadership and community audiences
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, monitoring, and outcomes-based reporting practices
