General Manager – Electronics Recycling Franchise
Full-Time | Base + Performance Incentives
The Woodlands, TX

We are hiring a hands-on General Manager to lead the daily operations of an electronics recycling franchise. This is a true mini-CEO role with ownership over people, process, and performance — from sourcing inbound electronics through community and business partners, to warehouse operations, resale, and scrap recovery.

Essential Functions

Manage inbound pickups and partnerships (municipalities, businesses, junk haulers, community orgs)
Oversee warehouse flow: intake, sorting, testing, resale vs. scrap decisions
Lead resale operations (pricing, listings, shipping accuracy) and scrap recovery
Partner with carriers (UPS/USPS/FedEx) and downstream recyclers
Lead, train, and hold accountable a small operations team
Own weekly KPIs: revenue, margin, throughput, inventory, safety, and data handling
Improve systems, layout, and processes to keep materials moving efficiently
Provide clear reporting to the franchise owner and escalate issues early

Competencies / Requirements

2–5+ years of operations leadership experience (warehouse, logistics, recycling, resale, manufacturing, or similar)
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality
Proven people management experience (hiring, training, performance management)
Comfortable owning KPIs and running day-to-day operations independently
Basic to intermediate understanding of financials and projections (revenue, margin, labor vs. output)
Tech-comfortable (inventory systems, dashboards, eCommerce tools a plus)
Valid driver’s license; ability to lift and move materials as needed
Flexible schedule to support pickups, shipping days, and peak volume

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with e-waste, recycling, resale, or scrap operations
Familiarity with eBay, Amazon, or other resale platforms
Forklift or warehouse equipment experience
