This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced English Copy Editor to enhance the quality of written content across various AI training initiatives. Ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for detail and a strong command of the English language, ensuring clarity, consistency, and stylistic excellence in complex written materials. Key Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and clarity.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, formatting, and terminology across documents.
• Improve structure, readability, and logical flow without altering intended meaning.
• Identify ambiguities, inconsistencies, and factual or structural issues.
• Enforce style guide adherence and maintain high editorial standards.
• Flag unclear instructions, weak reasoning, or editorial risks in source material.
• Provide thoughtful feedback to improve overall content quality.

• 5+ years of proven professional experience in copy editing, proofreading, journalism, publishing, technical editing, or a related field.
• Exceptional written and grammatical command of English (native or near-native proficiency required).
• Demonstrated history of high-precision editorial work with minimal error rates.
• Extremely high attention to detail and ability to catch subtle inconsistencies.
• Strong familiarity with style guides (e.g., Chicago, AP, MLA, or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent quality standards.
• Reliable availability and consistent engagement.

• Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
• Ongoing, consistent engagement expected.
• Work involves reviewing and refining high-volume written material.

• Hourly rate of $50 - $60.

• Remote work opportunity.
