**Job Title: Assistant Property Manager**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the property management team in overseeing the daily operations of our residential and/or commercial properties. This position is perfect for individuals who are organized, customer-focused, and interested in developing a career in property management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Property Manager in coordinating and managing all aspects of property operations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Help manage tenant relations to ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and property standards.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs, working closely with maintenance staff and outside contractors.
- Assist in preparing and managing budgets, expense reports, and financial records.
- Support the leasing and marketing of vacant properties, providing tours and information to prospective tenants.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to tenant activities, lease agreements, and property compliance.
- Help organize community events and initiatives to enhance tenant engagement and satisfaction.
**Qualifications:**
- HUD/LIHTC experience
Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local housing regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in property management is advantageous.
