Overview
Travel Physical Therapist position in Mattoon, Illinois. Start date: 06/01/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Earn $1,332 to $1,399 per week with a guaranteed 40 hours each week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Work setting: hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy procedures and related interventions as delegated by the supervising physical therapist, per the patient’s plan of care.
- Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility procedures to describe progress toward goals.
- Maintain patient records and ensure certifications and authorizations comply with third-party payer requirements.
- Communicate changes in patient status and overall progress to the supervising physical therapist.
- Deliver individualized patient and caregiver education to support goals and home exercise programs.
- Assist other facility staff as needed to maintain a safe, clean, and effective rehabilitation environment.

Requirements
- Active Illinois Physical Therapist Assistant License (REQUIRED)
- Active American Heart Association BLS (REQUIRED)
- 2+ years PTA experience (REQUIRED)
- Strong background in Total Knee Replacement (REQUIRED)
- Total Hip Replacement experience (PREFERRED)
- Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Mattoon, IL (REQUIRED) and submission of 2 Supervisory Reference Forms with dates employed and a current Skills Checklist (REQUIRED)
