Responsibilities
- Administer APTA standard physical therapy treatments for disabilities, injuries, and diseases to relieve pain, restore motor function, and maintain optimal performance.
- Work under limited supervision while delivering individualized treatment plans.
- Assess patients’ functional status, ROM, strength, and mobility; document progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team; set measurable goals.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, home programs, and safety considerations to maintain progress.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical guidelines, including privacy and documentation standards.

Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of APTA-standard physical therapy treatments
- Excellent communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to work with limited supervision and adapt to patient needs
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
- Commitment to accurate documentation and patient education
