Morris Inc. is seeking a driven individual to repair and maintain a variety of small engines, trailers and light construction equipment by performing the duties including, but not limited to, those listed below.

Requirements
  • Valid SD driver’s license and commercial driver’s license
  • Education and/or experience in parts, maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Physically capable of doing manual work and lifting up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have 1-2 years’ experience and be mechanically inclined. 
  • Inventory management experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Diagnosis and repair of gas and diesel engines related to small construction equipment.   
  • Diagnosis and repair of electrical issues related to utility, cargo, and equipment trailers.
  • Diagnosis of hydraulic issues related to small construction equipment.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory while keeping a clean and safe shop area
  • Deliver, load and unload equipment to job site and shop.
  • Ability to use computers for inventory management, parts lookup and budgeting.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in your work while completing tasks quickly
  • Monitor inventory to control excessive inventory for best profitability.
  • Communicate with crews and department managers to understand their needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
