Job Title: Sheet Metal CNC Technician

Pay: $30-$35

Job Description

This role focuses on setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC laser cutting machines and traditional sheet metal fabrication equipment to produce high-quality parts. The technician reads and interprets technical drawings, selects appropriate materials and tooling, performs inspections, and ensures that all components meet specified tolerances and quality standards in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting machines.
• Operate traditional sheet metal equipment, including press brakes, shears, punches, and saws, to form and cut materials accurately.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections to verify that parts meet quality standards and dimensional tolerances.
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges to confirm accuracy and consistency.

Essential Skills

• At least 4-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or CNC laser operation.
• Hands-on experience operating CNC laser cutting machines, such as Trumpf or similar equipment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical press brakes and traditional sheet metal equipment, including shears and punches.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand dimensional tolerances.
• Proficiency using inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Ability to perform first-article and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic CAD/CAM software is a +.
• Comfort working with a variety of sheet metal materials and thicknesses.
• Strong math skills and the ability to identify and correct quality issues.

This is a Permanent position based out of Southampton, PA.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Southampton,PA.
