Job Description and Duties

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Deputy Warden or designee and under the lead of the Analyst I and Correctional Counselor II (Supervisor) Grievance Coordinator, the Office Technician (Typing) is responsible for typing, filing, assisting with the maintenance of the Office of Grievance Tracking located in the Strategic Offender Management System  and arranging incarcerated person clarification interviews requested by the Centralized Screening Team located within the Office of Internal Affairs. Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
