Role snapshot

We’re hiring an experienced technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair production machinery—keeping our lines safe, reliable, and efficient.

Shift

• Third Shift: 10:30pm – 6:30am
• Ability to train on first shift is required.

What you’ll do

• Execute preventive maintenance according to established PM procedures.
• Conduct visual inspections; check and top off fluids; clean, lubricate, tighten, and adjust components.
• Calibrate sensors and gauges to maintain correct operating parameters.
• Run diagnostics to evaluate equipment condition, performance, and functionality.
• Troubleshoot by investigating symptoms and using diagnostic tools to locate root causes.
• Scope minor to moderate repairs, determining needed parts, materials, and specialty tools.
• Record all maintenance and repair work, including parts usage and tasks completed.
• Recommend future adjustments or repairs to improve uptime and reliability.
• Keep shop tools and equipment in top condition through proactive inspection and care.
• Manage commonly used items: inventory, reorder, receive, and verify supplies.
• Assist with machinery installation, modification, and relocation projects.
• Work from manuals, diagrams, drawings, schematics, and P&IDs to perform accurate repairs.
• Share insights on recurring issues and participate in continuous improvement.
• Complete documentation: work orders, parts request forms, RCA, PM and runtime inspections, and downtime reports.
• Take direction from senior mechanics; support junior team members with routine questions.
• Follow all safety procedures and company operating practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Skilled with hand, power, and diagnostic tools necessary for industrial maintenance.
• Working knowledge of automated equipment plus electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and work orders.
• Strong problem solving and communication (written and verbal).
• Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble manufacturing machinery.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
