Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Legal Copywriter and Editor to join our team at Grow Law (part of Comrade Digital Marketing). You will craft high-quality accurate and persuasive content for clients in the legal industry including website copy blog posts case studies social media newsletters and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear concise and persuasive copy across a variety of legal topics and formats
• Edit AI-written content through humanization personalization and fact-checking per our Editing Guide
• Conduct thorough research on legal topics to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Edit and proofread content to meet high-quality standards and legal guidelines
• Collaborate with clients to capture their brand voice and resonate with their target audience
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Work with SEO specialists marketers and the Content Manager/Editor to ensure content drives results
• Stay current with legal developments industry trends and content best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Law English Journalism Communications or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as a legal copywriter or content writer within the legal industry
• Strong understanding of legal terminology procedures and industry-specific content requirements
• Exceptional writing editing and proofreading skills
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear engaging and accessible content
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote/hybrid environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating expertise in legal content
