We are seeking an HR Manager to support the day-to-day execution of People Operations for Lewis & Clark and its subsidiaries. This role ensures HR processes, compliance requirements, and administrative operations are executed accurately and efficiently while providing support to employees and leadership.

Core Responsibilities

People Operations Administration

  • Serve as a partner and provide expert guidance to Lewis & Clark’s leadership team, employees, and subsidiaries on HR processes and administration, including HR systems, payroll, benefits, leaves of absence, and employee relations.
  • Maintain and enhance HR policies and procedures, ensuring clear communication with employees and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assume full responsibility for the administration of benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, etc.), overseeing systems and serving as the main point of contact for brokers.
  • Play an integral role in the onboarding and development of new employees, overseeing the process and conducting a positive onboarding learning experience.
  • Administer the company’s performance review process, ensuring review cycles, system workflows, documentation, and completion tracking are executed accurately and on time.
  • Manage administrative updates related to employee promotions, compensation changes, and payroll adjustments within the HRIS, and coordinate employee communication regarding these updates.
  • Oversee a flawless payroll process in partnership with the PEO, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with established quality controls and streamlined procedures.
  • Provide administrative support across HR systems, employee data, and internal HR processes.

Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Serve as a resource to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and leave administration.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations and assist with required reporting and documentation.
  • Support leave administration and employee relations processes as needed.

Recruiting Support

  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to deploy talent acquisition best practices.
  • Support onboarding coordination and documentation for new hires.

Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Assist with employee engagement and communication programs for Lewis & Clark and subsidiaries.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS – any major, plus PHR/SHRM certification
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience
  • High degree of confidentiality
  • Superior organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong desire to create healthy /positive culture
  • Ability to lead HR practices and objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based HR systems and tools.
