Job Description

We are seeking entry-level fabricators with some welding experience to support a high-visibility project. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fabrication while working on notable projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with TIG welding tasks under supervision.
• Support fabrication and assembly of project components.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.

• Basic welding experience (TIG preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools.

• Experience with hand tools such as grinders, drills, saws, and clamps.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and squares.
• Ability to read and follow basic shop drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of shop safety practices and PPE usage.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 4-5 PM. Overtime is mandatory and not negotiable. Enjoy two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break during your shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
