Job Description

A national technology company is seeking a Data Center Engineer for its Fort Collins, Colorado location. This role offers hands-on work with enterprise‑level hardware and a wide range of technical responsibilities.

The position includes installing servers and related devices, performing functional testing, and completing hardware repairs. The ideal candidate will also support troubleshooting efforts, conduct root‑cause analysis, and participate in mechanical assembly and system-level testing.

salary: $43,000 - $52,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Build and install Servers and devices into Data Center environment
• Troubleshoot issues and provide support
• Work with multiple teams to coordinate system configuration and installation
• Support Network Adminstration functions
• Connect infrastructure cables, system interconnect cables, label and complete documentation to reflect the system installation details and changes
• Follow cable management guidelines and installation best-practices
• Run diagnostics and verify systems functionality after install
• Document system location, networking configuration and system status
• Troubleshoot and debug system under test and communicate with remote teams as needed

The successful candidate will have:
- Associates Degree or experience
- Good Computer skills
- Experience working in Linux enviroment
- Time Managemnet skills and ability to work independently

This is an immediate, Full Time position in Fort Collins, Colorado with complete compensation package.
