Location: Farmers Branch, TX Position Type: Full-Time, Benefit Eligible, On-Site Pay: $18–$22/hour rate (based on experience) Overview Looking to grow your career in a professional, fast-paced office environment? Altocare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations and help keep our team running efficiently. In this role, you’ll be at the center of the office—helping create a smooth, organized, and welcoming environment while supporting leadership and multiple departments. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all functions related to the reception area and overall office operations * Manage office and snack supplies, including ordering, tracking, expense reporting, and storage * Coordinate facility needs, including communication with building management and external vendors * Handle all mail and shipping (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) * Provide administrative support across departments as needed * Draft internal communications, emails, letters, and responses to inquiries from clients and vendors * Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, and correspondence * Coordinate meetings and special events, including logistics, food ordering, reservations, and room setup * Maintain and manage office equipment and supplies (e.g., printers, mail systems) * Coordinate business card orders for new hires and office needs * Manage calendar scheduling for the CEO * Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the office and team Qualifications * 2+ years of administrative or office management experience * Associate’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred; additional experience may be considered in place of education * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Working knowledge of office equipment (e.g., printers) * Strong customer service orientation * Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks * Experience with ordering supplies and coordinating vendors * Experience managing meetings and events, including logistics and scheduling * Ability to sit for extended periods of time * Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as paper copier boxes and cases of water What We Offer * Competitive pay * Growth potential * Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision health insurance with a generous percentage paid by the company * Flexible Spending Account for health and dependent care * Company paid Life Insurance, AD&D, and Short-Term Disability * Competitive group rates for Voluntary Long-Term Disability * 401k with excellent matching * Paid vacation, personal days, and holidays, including a paid day off for your birthday * Gym membership reimbursement * Education tuition reimbursement About Altocare Altocare operates through its trusted brands—Senior Helpers and MedTec Healthcare—delivering a full spectrum of in-home care services designed to meet diverse needs.
