We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team.
Job Summary:
As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for providing support to our accounting department. You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
